While we offer an extensive range of one-day courses, our six week school in all things jewellery and silversmithing is a great place to start.
Led by Nottingham jeweller Alys Power, this course is adaptable to suit your needs and covers everything from saw piercing, to soldering, riveting, enamelling, stone setting, etc, in our fully equipped jewellery workshop.
This course is six weeks long and held on Wednesday mornings at 10am til 12.30pm or Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm til 9pm. Parking is outside the gallery itself with on street metres at £1 an hour or only £1 after 6pm.

If you're looking for jewellery workshops in Nottingham then you've found the right place.
We work with local specialists from various disciplines to create unique workshops and are always looking to expand our range.
Recently we have added 'Little Gems' workshops, which have been specially planned to give younger ones an opportunity to try out their creativity. Many of our courses are suitable for grown-up beginners too, but we also offer various skill-building workshops for more experienced jewellers, as well as workbench hire and business talks specially designed for creatives.
From learning how to make a ring, to starting your own crafting business, Nottingham’s very own jewellery quarter is here to help. With cabinets full of handmade jewellery and a fully equipped workshop all under one roof, what better place to start?
We even hold specialist Wedding Ring Workshops by local jeweller Puneet from Lunar Moth Jewellery.
Before signing on to your workshop, Puneet will host a consultation to answer any questions you may have about the process of DIY wedding rings - from what metal they can be made from, to sizing, texturing, and engraving options.
During the workshop you can spend quality time together making each others wedding rings. In the afternoon, you will enjoy high tea at The Footman's Rest (depending on availablity) before getting back to work. Under the guidance of Puneet you will learn traditional metalsmithing skills and techniques to create your bespoke pieces and make one another a ring you'll both treasure forever.
