How to approach the gallery

Artists looking for representation with Focus Gallery.

Here at Focus Gallery we are always on the search for new interesting artists and craftspeople. We want to provide our customers with high quality craftsmanship and artwork, showcasing the best the UK has to offer. Should you wish to contact us about your work then it must be British made. We only sell artists work who design and create within the UK.

Please tell us about yourself and your work and include a couple of low res images in your cover email. Should you have a website or a page we can look at more work than include that also. Email us on for attention of Antonia Disney (Gallery owner).

In your cover email please include your current prices, either trade or recommended retail price if you sell elsewhere in the UK but both is perfectly fine. This is a useful for us to establish whether the prices will suit our gallery and sit well with the other work we have on show here. We would also like to know whether you would consider work here on a sale or return basis or if you are a buy only artist. It is helpful if you can let us know if you are happy to exhibit work on sale or return as this is the preferred method for all new artists.

Sizes of pieces are helpful should they be larger scale or wall art. Due to space at the gallery we need to asses if it with fit on our walls, or if it’s a freestanding piece where items would go for best effect.

Please do not be disheartened if we do not contact you straight away. We have lots of artist submissions to get through and are a very small team so your email may be placed into a file for future displays. Please do not keep calling to check on progress, by all means send a follow up email or phone call but artists who continually get in touch are less likely to be considered. We like to work with a broad range of artists and try to reply to all our emails even if it is to say that your work isn’t suitable for us but please keep getting in touch with other galleries where your work will suit perfectly.

Thank you for approaching us.
